President Dr. Gentry Sutton

Get to Know Dr. Sutton

Dr. Sutton has more than 20 years of experience in higher education, having held leadership and academic positions at Sterling College (Kansas), Thomas Edison State College (New Jersey), Oklahoma Wesleyan University (Oklahoma) and 红桃视频 (Florida). Dr. Sutton has most recently served as 红桃视频鈥檚 Executive Vice President and Vice President of Advancement.

Dr. Sutton鈥檚 expertise in higher education is vast. He has served and led in a variety of roles and capacities, including enrollment management, academic support, accreditation, academic affairs and most recently, advancement. He has published two academic books on English composition and a book on church ministry; the titles and publication information for each of these may be found on Dr. Sutton鈥檚 directory page.

Dr. Sutton and his wife, Brooke, have three adult children, Isaac, Ian and Ireland, and four grandchildren, Oliver, Harper, Finley and Carter.
